The four letter words of mediocre managers, tell, yell and sell. I despise these words. If you use them consistently, you are in for a surprise, you aren't going to get the results you need. In fact the result you may get is an invitation to go and manage in some other company. If you want to be effective we need to transform these four letter words into their enlightened opposites. Tell becomes ask, yell becomes passion and sell becomes influence.
